Software developers are assigned to one or more projects where they are expected to investigate their work items, determine one or more implentation solutions and develop or modify the software to achieve the requirement.
The developer must both understand and utilize our development process and be able to work at all phases from business problem, to software architecture, to quality assurance, for projects that match their level of knowledge. The majority of their time will be spent writing and testing application code, preparing and reviewing architecture, design and coding with their teammates.

We're looking for a Software QA Lead to join our growing team. The Software QA Lead is an individual with a bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science, and with knowledge of a wide variety of technological domains. The position will rely on your experience with the Systems Development Life Cycle for systems developed using C++, C#, Java and C. A thorough understanding of the various core technologies of Microsoft Windows, Unix, Linux and the Macintosh is crucial. A good understanding of the test requirements for embedded and database software would be ideal.
You will have expert knowledge and practical experience in the Software QA process. Additionally, you will have a proven track record of leading a team of QA specialists for multiple simultaneous projects. You will be expected to develop, establish, integrate and evolve the QA process in conjunction with Orbital's Software Engineering groups to ensure on-going improvements in the quality of delivered software.
The QA Lead role will report directly to the Vice President of Engineering.
